Job Description:

Major Responsibilities:

 

Conduct market assessments to identify potential suppliers, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions for the procurement of goods and services.

Coordinate with local and international suppliers, and manage the procurement process from order placement to delivery, ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards and are delivered on time.

 

Ensure compliance with customs regulations and requirements, and manage the documentation for the import and export of goods across the border.

 

Maintain customer satisfaction, as well as improve its operational efficiency

Required Professional Experience

 

Minimum of 3 years of experience in procurement and logistics operations, preferably in a humanitarian or emergency relief context.

 

Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification

Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.

 

Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, logistics operations, and customs regulations.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, and ability to build strong relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Fluent in Turkish and English, knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
  • Experience in agricultural materials procurement is an advantage.
