Functions:

Mainly responsible from AREA HR employee relations, performance & contract management, supervising assistant(s), taking responsibility aligned with ACTED Structure and Standard Terms of Reference of officer role in HR Manual in general :

  • Preparing employee contracts for new joiners
  • Making contract modifications due to salary, location, position changes, extension
  • Preparing  termination notifications
  • Managing daily worker processes, including recrutiment, validating roster lists, preparing service agreements, following expire dates, monthly payments and etc.
  • Supporting program on incentive workers process management
  • Following trial period, asking for evaluation, confirming the continuation or termination with the line managers
  • Exit management and conducting proper exit interviews with resignated staff
  • Tracking seniorty and processing seniory increases
  • Filling the PAF sheets with needed info, sharing with line managers, collecting forms from all bases and consolidating PAF sheets before coordination review for NWS.
  • Responsible all recruitment for Off Camps
  • Preparing warning / appreciation letters
  • Overseeing and supervising leave management process
  • Following up premises contracts, collecting required documents, preparing the contracts, and regular payments
  • Updating premises and global area rent follow up
  • Following payroll processes for all bases, submitting related documents, supporting Area HRM and CAM
  • Supporting HRM on improving strategies & tools
  • Drafting updates for HR Manual of NWS and Turkey
  • Drawing process maps for own responsible function and conducting trainings for staff
  • Supporting department in other daily activities and performing other duties as requested.
     

Qualifications;

  • Min. Bachelor Degree
  • 3-5 years of experience with Human Resources department required; experience in an international NGO context is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience and ability to create, implement, maintain and improve HR strategies and systems is preferred and prioritized
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • Strong organizational skills, time management and the ability to prioritize work
  • Desire to be proactive and create positive relations with others
  • Willing and eligible to Cross the border from Turkey in NWS incase needed
  • Fluency in English and Arabic language skills are required, Turkish is preferred
