Görevler ve Sorumluluklar
Güvenlik ve Tedbir

• Yolcuların, ekipmanların ve trafikteki diğer unsurların güvenliğini sağlamak;
• Türkiye’de ki trafik Kural ve yönetmeliklerine, hız sınırlarına dikkat etmek;
• DDD’nin güvenlik kurallarına riayet etmek;
• Bütün gerekli dökümanların tam olduğundan ve bitiş tarihlerinden önce yenilendiğinden emin olmak;

Araç Bakımı

• Araç moturunun, yağ seviyesinin, fren balatalarının, lastiklerin hava basıncının ve diğer teknik durumların günlük kontrolünü sağlamak;
• Teknik bir sorun veya bakım ihtiyacına istinaden yöneticisini bilgilendirmek/uyarmak;
• Yöneticinin onayından sonra gerekli bakımın organizasyonunu veya gerçekleştirilmesini sağlamak;
• Araç iç ve dış temizliğini sağlamak
• Tüm gerekli ekipman ve materyallerin araç içinde hazır ve iyi durumda olmasını sağlamak;
• ¼ seviyeye indiğinde araç deposunu tekrardan doldurmak ve gerekli fatura/evrakları her 15 günde bir yöneticiye iletmek.

İdari İşler

• Araç Logbook/Kayıt Defterinin günlük olarak güncellenmesini sağlamak;
• Projeye gerekli durumlarda ve ihtiyaç duyulduğunda destek vermek;
• Güvenlikle alakalı herhangi bir durumu yöneticiye bildirmek;
• Saha ziyaretlerinin organizasyonlarını desteklemek.

Diğer İlgili Görevler

• Çalışma ve depolama alanlarının bakımı, toplanması ve organize edilmesi ile ilgilenmek;
• Ekipmanları control etmek ve İSG yönetmeliklerine uygun olacak şekilde olmalarını sağlamak;
• Kurum içi toplantılara katılım sağlamak;
• Güvenlikle alakalı her türlü konuyu yöneticiye bildirmek;
• Proje Yönetcisi tarafından talep edildiği gibi, pozisyonla alakalı tüm diğer konularda destek sağlamak;
• Görev veya kontrat sonunda yapılan illerle alakalı devir teslim raporu sağlamak.

Eğitim ve Bilgi

• İlkokul Mezunu
• Geçerli Sürücü Belgesi (B Sınıfı zorunludur)

Mesleki Deneyim

• Minimum 2 yıl tecrübesi olan;

• Tercihen: Arapça

Medecins du Monde Turkey (MDM-T) / Dünya Doktorları Dernegi (DDD) is a Turkish based humanitarian non-governmental organisation that facilitates access to healthcare for populations affected by armed conflict, violence, natural disasters, disease, famine, poverty and exclusion.

Our organization collaborates with partners and key stakeholders to implement projects that facilitate access to primary and secondary-level healthcare services to respond to the medical needs of displaced population.

Mission

Since 2015, DDD implements programs in both Turkey and Syria providing refugee and IDP communities with free access to healthcare services. DDD works with a range of humanitarian professionals and technical experts to provide Primary Healthcare (PHC), Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)services as well as sexual and reproductive health (SRH).

Since the beginning of the Syria and Iraqi crises, Turkey has become host to over 3 million refugees, migrants and asylum seekers which led to an increasing demand for health services. In this context, DDD’s intervention aims to assist local public health systems in providing and improving access to health and health related services to vulnerable populations among refugees and migrants in Turkey, specifically in Hatay, Izmir and Istanbul. In Syria, DDD runs health facilities in Idlib and Afrin provinces to deliver health-related services to IDPs.

Based in Izmir, the Project Driver will be directly supervised by Log/Admin Manager.

Main Responsibilities

Function Details
Safety and Security

• Ensure passengers' security, equipment and other road users;
• Respect Turkey road regulation code and respecting speed limits;
• Respect DDD rules of security;
• Ensuring that all necessary documents are valid and renewed before the expiration date;

Vehicle Maintenance

• Daily monitoring of vehicle's engine, oil level, breaks liquid, air pressure of wheels, wind shield liquid, etc.
• Alerting direct supervisor in case of technical problem or need for maintenance;
• Organise or carry out of necessary maintenance after validation of direct supervisor;
• Ensure vehicle cleanliness of vehicle interior and exterior;
• Ensure all necessary equipment and material is present in the vehicle, and in good condition;
• Refilling the fuel tank each time the tank is at ¼ of its capacity, and provide invoices each 15 day to the supervisor;

Administrative

• Ensure vehicle logbook is duly updated;
• Provide support to the project on various tasks, when required;
• Report any security related issues to the supervisor;
• Supporting operational organisation of field trips;

Other position related tasks

• Maintain tidy and organised work spaces and storage areas;
• Check equipment / machinery used and ensure health and safety guidelines are adhered to;
• Participate in internal work meetings;
• Report any security related issues to the line manager;
• Assist in any other tasks related to the position, as required by Project Manager;
• Provide a mission report and/or handover document at the end of contract.

Actively promote PSEA (Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse) standards within Dünya Doktorları Derneği and amongst beneficiaries served by Dünya Doktorları Derneği.
NB: Considering the purpose and values of the organisation, DDD requests to its employee complete flexibility in term of duties and commitment, as their job description and job title can be adjusted throughout the year according to needs and priorities.

Expected profile
Knowledge & Qualification

• Basic formal education
• Valid Driving license (category B is mandatory)

Experience

• At least 2 years of professional driving experience;

Languages

• Required: Turkish (oral and written);
• Preferred: Arabic

Intellectual & Physical

• Good knowledge of the area;
• Organisational and planning skills;
• Personal commitment to improving your own knowledge and skills.

Communication & Information Flow

• Interpersonal and communication skills;
• Verbal and Internal reporting skills;

General Qualities required:

• Diplomatic;
• Willingness to travel to field on regular basis;
