People in Need
People in Need (PIN) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization based on the ides of humanism, freedom, equality and solidarity. We consider human dignity and freedom to be basic values and believe that people anywhere in the world should have the right to make decisions about their lives and to share the rights expressed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
PIN has been working in Northern Syria since 2012, providing emergency relief and early recovery support to conflict-affected communities. Programmes focus mainly on Emergency Food Assistance, WASH, and Education, in addition to Early Recovery and Livelihoods activities and emergency response.
In response to the earthquake disaster in southern Turkey and North-West Syria, Distribution, Livelihoods, and Psychosocial Support (PSS) Activities are being implemented with the primary objective of delivering aid to those impacted by the earthquake within the framework of the Turkiye programme.
