Main Job Purpose:

• Contributes to and administers an efficient DAM (Digital Asset Management) system for the marketing department in line with marketing strategy.
• Manages and uploads marketing assets to DAM system, analyses and archives data, and coaches and manages DAM system account users.
• All to help manage strong marketing collateral to meet the evolving needs of the marketing department and drive revenue for the charity.

Accountabilities:

• Uploading assets to our digital asset management system in a timely fashion and managing accurate and efficient data entry on a large scale onto a DAM system, to ensure relevant media is available when required for the needs of marketing and all other departments.
• Analysing marketing data through Meta tagging, sourcing trends, and themes to organise and collate required data for marketing purposes.
• Overseeing DAM user management by creating new users, and deactivating old accounts no longer used, to ensure new employees have access to the systems and to remove clutter.
• Training staff on our digital asset management system and training new starters, creating process maps/user guides, and hosting refresher training to ensure all users can use the system to its full potential, and to maximise the users' experience.
• Vetting images and archiving older content by conducting checks on images uploaded by users, and removing unused content from the DAM system, to ensure all content is relevant, safeguard users from inappropriate use of images, and provide a good user experience.
• Acting as a point for contact for the DAM system by communicating effectively, both internally and externally, dealing with clients overseas, and organising/sharing digital assets according to client specifications to meet customer needs.
• Write synopsis for collateral uploaded on the DAM system, by producing relevant and accurate descriptions of content in order establish online commentary to manage content quicker, which can then be utilised for marketing campaigns.
• Generally maintaining the DAM system by providing user issues support, investigating bugs, and raising queries with system technicians to keep the system in good working order.
• Completing any other ad hoc duties required by line manager, collaborating with departments on other projects, providing input/ideas to promote information sharing and a positive/productive work environment.

Requirements:

Education

Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in computer science, marketing or business or equivalent experience

Experience

1-2 years’ relevant experience including project management involving digital content collections

Computer Skills

Familiar with DAM systems, competent with MS Office suite, understanding of databases, working knowledge of digital content formats and standards

Languages

Fluent English & Arabic essential, other languages a bonus
