- Responsibilities & Tasks:
Within delegated authority, Reintegration Officer will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Reintegration Officer
- Under the supervision of the Project Manager , provide planning, programmatic and technical support to the assigned programme.
- Contributes to the development, implementation and evaluation of Reintegration processes within the scope of Employee Reintegration activities; monitors and analyzes the development and implementation of programs; examines documents and reports; identifies problems and issues to be addressed and recommends corrective actions; liaises with interested parties; identifies and tracks follow-up actions.
- The Reintegration Officer analyzes and presents information gathered from various sources.
- Assists in policy development, review and analysis of issues and potential developments, preparation of assessments or other research activities, with the Inter-Agency Working Group for the Reintegration field.
- Undertakes data collection initiatives;
- Prepares various written documents.
- Participates in meetings, including task- and responsibility-specific Integrated Task Forces, conferences, etc., including proposing agenda topics, preparing documents and presentations.
- Conducts outreach activities; organizes workshops, seminars, meetings, etc.; makes presentations on topics and events related to field.
- Supports activities related to budget and funding
- Performs other duties as required.
- Partnership Management:
- Work closely with MSYD’s partners and donors to achieve agreed targets and activities and build and maintain healthy relationship with them.
- Ensure partner quality of the program through compliance and adherence to MSYD, donor and national policies, procedures and guidelines, as well as internationally recognized standards.
- In coordination with the MSYD Gant Team, conduct regular follow-up to ensure the timely implementation of the program, donor compliance and where needed provide capacity support to their organizational development.
- Financial Management
- To create and implement an expenditure plan for the beneficiaries in cooperation with the finance unit and to report it to the project manager.
- Fulfill the task of managing the petty cash. Ensuring that the expenditures that must be made urgently, without waiting for the purchasing process, are spent from this safe within the knowledge of the Project Manager,
- To ensure that the gas oil, hygiene and other needs of the vehicles which are allocated to this project, are met from the small expenditure cash register.
- Monitoring and Evaluation:
- Ensure successful planning, implementation, monitoring, recording and reporting of program activities.
- Draw up periodic reports on program activities for relevant managers and funders.
- Contribute and support MSYD’s knowledge management efforts through collecting lessons learned and best practices and disseminating to the team.
- Communication and Coordination:
- Develop and maintain regular and transparent supportive communication structures.
- Participate in internal and external coordination meetings, as requested by the Project Manager
- Program Development:
- Works with MSYD Grant Team on program development including, proposals, concept notes, modification requests etc.
- Share technical reports, research, field reports with the Project Manager to support development of concept notes
- Ensure grants are implemented in line with contractual obligations, policy and regulations.

- Required Skills/Qualifications:
- Advanced university degree (Master's degree or equivalent) in political science, international relations, law or a related field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree.
- Relevant professional experience of not less than 2 (two) years.
- Familiarity/prior experience with internally displaced persons and refugees-returnees would be an advantage.
- Familiarity/prior experience with Humanitarian/NGO sector would be an advantage.
- Excellent technical skills in proposal writing, analysis and report writing.
- Ability to build and sustain effective partnerships with partners, local authorities and community organisations.
- Computer/IT literacy (Particularly Microsoft Office Programs)
- Fluency in written and verbal English , Turkish.
- German language is a plus
- Sensitivity to cultural differences and ability to work in multi-cultural environment.
- Additional responsibilities:
In relation to their level of skills and experience the post holder may be required to carry out additional duties from time to time that are reasonable.
