Job Definition

• To contribute the success of the EC Proposal team, with ensuring strong and compliant hires are made;
• Work with the Recruiter/Recruitment Manager on development of job descriptions for proposals/projects;
• Source appropriate candidates through internal and external networks; 
• Maintain regular contact with possible future candidates;
• Re-write candidates' CVs to address qualifications required for roles specified in proposals;
• Follow standardised processes to screen and select the best candidates, ensuring compliance with all governmental and client employment specifications;
• Carry out reference checks on all selected candidates; 
• Provide regular and timely updates to the Recruitment Manager on all recruitment activity;
• Perform other recruitment tasks as directed by the Senior Recruiter or Recruitment Manager.

 

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in social science disciplines, particularly human resources, international relations and sociology;
• Master's or PhD degree in the related disciplines will be an asset;
• At least one year of professional working experience
• Familiarity with the European Commission and other EU donors will be a strong asset
• Full computer (Microsoft Office products) and internet literacy;
• Fluency in both oral and written communication in English and Turkish;
• Ability to integrate quickly into existing teams;
• Good communication and analytical skills;
• Ability to work to tight deadlines, often under pressure;
• Ability to demonstrate an innovative and flexible approach to problem solving and possess the ability to work through problems in an analytical way;
• Highly self-motivated to work in a challenging environment and have a flexible approach to working hours;
