Qualifications – Professional and Personal Skills

 -        Bachelor’s degree in social sciences or economics, preferably in education,

  • At least 8 years of relevant professional experience,
  • At least  5 years of experience in project management
  • Good knowledge of  English or German (speaking, reading, writing),  Arabic will be asset
  • Familiar with the socio-cultural context of the province,
  • Competent with MS Office Applications (word, excel, power point etc.),
  • Output oriented, organized and flexible,
  • Good communicator at all levels, Team player,
  • Able to take initiative and plan own work

 Main Tasks & Duties

  • Introduce and represent the project in the province
  • Cooperate closely with the National Project Coordinator in Ankara, report regularly about the activities carried out in the province,
  • Provide support for the planning and implementation of sub-projects to be conducted in the provinces by Turkish and German partner organisations
  • Network with partners and local sector representatives, identify opportunities for collaboration and support development of new project ideas, 
  • Support the implementation of short-term assignments by German, other international or national experts, if required.
  • Conduct financial management and reporting, monitoring & evaluation at provincial level,
  • Ensure timely and accurate flow of information at central and provincial levels,
  • Support awareness raising among relevant target groups, stakeholders and provincial partners,
  • Plan and organize events (i.e. meetings, seminars, workshops etc.),
  • Conduct Risk management and ensure mitigation measures are in place,

  Project  Assistant / Secretarial to be based in Ankara - full time 

Qualifications – Professional and Personal Skills

-        Bachelor’s degree in any field will be an asset.

  • At least  2 year experience as a project assistant or secretary.
  • Turkish National and Turkish Native speaker
  • Good command of English or German (speaking, reading, writing)
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Full computer literacy (word, excel, power point etc.)
  • Output oriented, organized and flexible
  • Good communicator and Team player
  • Able to take initiative and plan own work
  • For male candidates: completed military service

 Main Tasks & Duties

  • Perform daily Office duties (phone calls, e-mails, typing official letters, photocopying, cargo, office equipment maintenance, and stationary etc.)
  • Data collection, entry, filing and recording,
  • Event organization including ticketing, hotel booking, venue preparation and documentation etc.
  • Keep minutes of meetings
  • Interpretation and translation as required
  • Other administrative and support activities as required by the Project
