Accountabilities
- Managing the project and coordinating the whole project cycle from the beginning to the end
- Managing donor relations and being responsible for donor communication and donor compliance
- Being in close coordination with the supporting departments (HR, finance, procurement, communication)

Supporting the development of the program implementation strategy pre-positioning with donors

Designing proposals and the development of good following up plans, directly engaging in the design and development of proposals, drafting, reviewing and editing proposals on an ongoing basis

Supporting preparation of detailed and concise context and background information reports on the area where the project will be implemented.

In coordination with Program Manager; developing effective and efficient Work-Plans

Detailing each required steps to achieve IBC’s objectives

In compliance with contracts signed with the donors; closely following up on the implementation of the Work-Plan, and, if necessary, take any corrective measure to ensure timely implementation of the activities and/or revision of the work-plan

Guiding the field teams in their day-to-day work

Ensuring that the activities are planned efficiently and implemented in compliance with contracts signed with the donors

Undertaking frequent field missions, ensuring that the project activities are effectively implemented in line with work plan requirements

Working in close contact with the field teams to ensure effective and efficient program implementation

Partnership relationships and operational systems

Holding regular coordination meetings with the field team and program team to discuss issues, ensure strong communication and learning from each other

Working in close contact with Program Manager/s on managing the program budget, including regular monitoring of expenditure against budget, in accordance with IBC’s financial procedures and guidelines

Prepare all administrative documents in compliance with the defined system, forms and templates

Develop reports (e.g. monthly, quarterly and/or final reports)

Work in close contact with M&E Officer/Manager on managing projects in line with logical framework, the program M&E plan and ensure regular analysis and reporting on program data

Networking and representing IBC, maintaining communication and sharing experience with the partner organizations and other stakeholders to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of program activities and promote best practice.
Requirements
-
At least Bachelor’s level qualification in Social Sciences, Political Sciences, Development Studies, or an equivalent area; and equivalent experience in relevant programmatic areas of protection and/or managing

Experience in a humanitarian/development or relevant similar organisation. At minimum, you must have at least one year of progressively more responsible work experience that involved direct project management, and contract/grant management
- Having managerial and coordination skills
- Being solution oriented & open to the communication

Experience in emergency response, protection, livelihood, cash-based assistance, and/or MHPSS programming in a humanitarian setting is an advantage
-
Excellent oral and written communication abilities in Turkish and English. You should possess an ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders to communicate goals and expectations to their teams, and to deliver timely and high quality oral and written analysis and reporting.
