We are looking for an astute Procurement Specialist to oversee purchasing activities and ensure that purchased items are both cost-efficient and of high quality. The Procurement Specialist's responsibilities include supervising staff, maintaining positive supplier relations, evaluating supply options, approving purchases, and maintaining accurate records.

Procurement Specialist Responsibilities:

·       Collecting quotations and obtaining samples  according to required technical specifications of RFI's, RFQ's and RFP's

·       Overseeing and supervising published tenders and all activities of the purchasing department.

·       Preparing plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.

·       Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.

·       Reviewing, comparing, analyzing, and approving products and services to be purchased.

·       Managing inventories and maintaining accurate purchase and pricing records.

·       Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc.

·       Maintaining good supplier relations and negotiating contracts.

·       Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers.

·       Preparing budgets, cost analyses, and reports.

Procurement Specialist Requirements:

·       Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations, logistics, business administration, transportation, or engineering.

·       Experience in Tender processes - RFI's, RFQ's and RFP's

·       Procurement Contracting skills

·       Fluency in spoken and written both English and Arabic

·       5+ years of experience as a Procurement Specialist or in a similar position

·       Strong team player

·       Ability to manage, coach, and provide training for direct reports

·       Exceptional organizational and analytical skills

·       Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.

·       Strong communication and negotiation skills.

·       Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.

·       Supervisory and management experience.
