About UOSSM DER:

A non-profit, non-governmental humanitarian medical relief organization, licensed in Turkey, that assists refugees affected by humanitarian disasters, living in Turkey and Syria .

The organization was established in Turkey in 2012 and is based in Reyhanli, Hatay.

UOSSM DER is a member organization of the Paris-based International Union of Care and Relief Organizations (UOSSM), which provides humanitarian, medical relief services to people affected by crises in several places around the world. In cooperation with member organizations (UOSSM USA, UOSSM Canada, UOSSM France, UOSSM Britain, UOSSM Germany, UOSSM Netherlands, and UOSSM Switzerland), UOSSM Turkey seeks to mobilize efforts and coordinate projects with a vision of providing independent and impartial humanitarian assistance to those affected by humanitarian disasters.

UOSSM DER provides its services to all refugees regardless of gender, ethnicity, religion or political affiliation. UOSSM DER has been a licensed organization registered in Turkey since 2012 by the Department of Associations, with license number 059-018-31. UOSSM DER works in Four Turkish states (Hatay, Gaziantep, Kilis, Istanbul) and provides specialized services in physiotherapy and rehabilitation programs, as well as mental health and psychosocial support.

Duties and responsibilities:

Data Collection:

Collecting data (qualitative and/or quantitative) as needed from beneficiaries and stakeholders using the approved tools, i.e. Questionnaires, Key Informants Interviews (KII), Focus Group Discussions (FGD) to measure the beneficiary’s satisfaction using questionnaires and follow up the beneficiary’s complaints solutions.

monitoring and Evaluation Assistant is the responsible person to establish the monitoring and evaluation plan according to the proposal, budget, and plans of the project activities.

collect M&E data and information about the indicators and implementation of the M&E plan by communicating with different project stakeholders

Reporting:

Publish monitoring and evaluation reports for projects and activities, field visit report, checklist report, Exit interviews report (Beneficiary’s Satisfaction report).

Follow up and closing of recommendations and suggestions of monitoring and evaluation reports generally.

Reviewing and auditing:

Reviewing the monthly database of a project and validate it to be matched with the hard copy of project beneficiaries’ files.

Monitoring the monthly project’s indicators and reviewing it before submission to the donor.

Supervising and follow-up:

Supervising technically on data entries periodically to verify the quality of the recorded data and ensure submission data timeliness.

Contribute on needs assessments beginning from preparation stage and collecting data to purplish needs assessment report.

Communication and Coordination:

Communicating with the beneficiaries and receiving their feedbacks, suggestions and complaints related to the project.

Communicating with the different stakeholders of project’s scope about the results and recommendations of monitoring and evaluation reports (Center coordinators M&E Officer, Technical Officer, Data entry etc.).

Follow-up the complaints boxes and complaint’s solutions, gathering all feedbacks and suggestions from beneficiaries.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Qualification: University degree or institute (Statistics or Engineering)

Experience: 1 year Experience in same field.

Microsoft office: intermediate level

English Languages: Upper intermediate level

Arabic Languages: Advance

Turkish Languages: Advance

Other requests: Turkish citizenship
