Job Description:

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Livelihood  Assistants to join our team in Adiyaman. This individual will play a crucial role in the successful implementation of life–sustaining projects.

The primary responsibilities of the Field Assistants include grant distribution, coaching on grant spending, monitoring the impact of grants on businesses, and ensuring alignment with the agreed-upon business plans. The ideal candidate would have experience in livelihood projects, possess a high level of proficiency in Turkish (C2). In addition to English or Arabic, and report to the Line Manager.

 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS:

·          Need Assessment, identification and registration: Perform need assessments in the field to identify and register suitable life-sustaining project candidates.

·         Business Coaching: Provide guidance and coaching to grant recipients on effective grant spending and its impact on their businesses.

·         Impact Assessment: Monitor and evaluate the effects of grants on the business performance of recipients.

·         Field visits : Conduct regular field visits to every candidates to ensure that grant recipients are following the agreed-upon business plans and that their activities are aligned with the initial agreements. 

·         Grant Distribution: Responsible for the proper and equitable distribution of grants to eligible life- sustaining project beneficiaries.

·         Business Plan preparation: Engage with grant candidates to develop and refine their business plans, ensuring they align with the project's goals.

·         Reporting: Prepare detailed and accurate reports on grant distribution, coaching activities, and the status of grant recipients. Report findings to the Line Manager.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES:

·         Proven experience in livelihood projects or a related field.

·         Proficiency in Turkish (C2 level). And a good level of English or Arabic.

·         From Adiyaman or willing to be based in Adiyaman.

·         Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

·         Ability to work independently and in a team 

·         Excellent organizational and time management skills.

·         Analytical and problem-solving skills. 

Willingness to travel and conduct field visits regularly.
