3.Seviye – Dağıtım Asistanı çocuklarla ve gençlerle sıklıkla iletişimde bulunacaktır.

POZSİYONUN AMACI: 

Dağıtım Asistanı deprem bölgesinde yapılan dağıtımlara günlük olarak destek sağlayacak, acil durum dağıtım planlarının uygulanmasına katkıda bulunacaktır. Zamanın çoğunu sahada dağıtımda geçirecek ve başta muhtarlar olmak üzere bir çok paydaşlarla iletişimde bulunacaktır.

SORUMLULUK ALANLARI:

Dağıtım Asistanı aşağıdakilerden sorumlu olacaktır:

GENEL SORUMLULUK

• Dağıtım koordinatörü ve sorumlusu ile yakın koordinasyon içinde, gerektiği şekilde saha düzeyinde değerlendirmelerin ve yerinde gözlemlerin yürütülmesinde yardımda bulunmak.

• Dağıtım görevlisini ve Muhtarları (yerel topluluk liderleri) ziyaret etmede, dağıtım alanını belirlemede ve güvenliğini sağlamada desteklekte bulunmak.

• Dağıtım görevlisine, dağıtım ekibinin sorumlu olduğu dağıtımı gerçekleştirmesine ve günlük ihtiyaç analizlerini tamamlamasında yardımcı olmak.

• Dağıtım sürecinin Save the Children International (SCI) ilkeleriyle uyumlu olmasını sağlarken, saha ekibini düzenli olarak gözlemlemek ve geri bildirimde bulunmak.

• Gıda Dışı Ürün (NFI) dağıtımları için yararlanıcı hedefleme kriterleri oluşturmada Dağıtım Koordinatörü ve Dağıtım Sorumlusunu desteklemek.

Dağıtım listeleri ve yararlanıcılar için uygun belgelerin muhafaza edilmesini sağlamak.

• DAĞITIM ERİŞİMİ, PLANLAMA VE RAPORLAMA

• Müdahale dağıtım planlamasına ve devam eden dağıtım malzemelerinin teslimine destek olmak.

• Dağıtım yerlerini, ihtiyaçları belirlemek ve dağıtım çalışanlarını denetlemek

• Saha analizlerine aktif olarak destek olmak ve günlük, haftalık olarak raporlanmalarda bulunmak.

• Çocuk koruma, davranış kuralları, sağlık ve güvenlik, fırsat eşitliği ve diğer ilgili politika ve prosedürlere ilişkin Save the Children politikalarına ve uygulamalarına uymak.

TEMSİL, KOORDİNASYON & TOPLUM İLİŞKİLERİ

• Save the Children'ı sahada temsil etmek ve paydaşlarla, özellikle muhtar ve topluluğun kilit üyeleriyle iyi ilişkiler kurmak.

• MHPSS ve CP ekipleriyle işbirliği ve koordinasyon sağlamak

• İnsani yardımın asgari standartlarının Sphere Şartı ve Davranış Kurallarına uygun olarak sürdürülmesini sağlamak.

JOB ADVERTISEMENT – Program Distribution Assistant

CHILD SAFEGUARDING:

Level 3:  the post holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.

ROLE PURPOSE: 

The Distribution Assistant will provide day-to-day support to the emergency relief distribution within the response team while responding to earthquake disasters. The position holder will contribute to the implementation of emergency distribution plans. Will spend most of his/her time in the field and will play an active role in communicating with the stakeholders, especially the Mukhtar.

KEY AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:

The Program Distribution Support will be responsible for the following:

GENERIC RESPONSIBILITY

• Provide assistance in conducting field-level assessments and on-site observations as required, in close coordination with the distribution coordinator and officer.
• Support distribution officer in visiting CL and Mukhtars (local community leaders), determining the distribution area, and ensuring its security.
• Assist the distribution officer in ensuring that the distribution team carries out accountable delivery and conducts daily needs analyses.
• Regularly observe and provide feedback to the field team, while ensuring that the distribution process aligns with Save the Children International (SCI) principles.
• Support the Distribution Coordinator and Officer in establishing beneficiary targeting criteria for non-food item (NFI) distributions, ensuring proper documentation is maintained for distribution lists and beneficiaries.

DISTRIBUTION ACCESS, PLANNING AND REPORTING

• Support to response distribution planning and delivery of ongoing distribution materials
• Identify distribution sites, needs and supervise the distribution workers
• Actively supporting the field analysis and reporting daily and weekly basis
• Comply with Save the Children policies and practice with respect to child protection, code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.

REPRESENTATION, COORDINATION & COMMUNITY RELATIONS

• Represent Save the Children in field-level coordination mechanisms, and build good relations with stakeholders, especially with mukhtar and community key members
• Collaborate and coordination with the other departments especially with MHPSS and CP team in the area to provide support and oversight on any construction activities taking place
• To ensure that the minimum standards of humanitarian relief are maintained in accordance with the Sphere Charter and Code of Conduct.
• Ensure that Save the Children's work is coordinated with efforts of other agencies and Government representative.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

Essential:

• A suitable qualification in, logistics, social studies or another relevant subject
• Experience working in the relief sector with a recognized international organization.
• Ideally some of this experience will have been in an emergency situation
• Experience in assessments, program implementation and evaluation
• Experience of community mobilisation and distribution
• Experience in winterisation programming
• Experience of and commitment to working through systems of community participation
• Excellent communication skills
• Capacity to supervise staff
• Computer literate
• Fluency in spoken Turkish and Arabic or English
• Commitment to and understanding of Save the Children’s aims, values and principles
• Ability and willingness to travel to the project sites

Position holder will be based in Hatay, therefore legal right to work in Türkiye is necessary at the time of application. Female candidate will be prioritized.
