Job Description
- Coordinated, comprehensive and measurable protection and case management for vulnerable groups
- After the needs analysis, informing, referring and accompanying the beneficiaries when accessing services through “one refugee” approach.
- Develop and execute case management plans for vulnerable individuals with problems in accessing services.
- Regularly report to Program Manager and Protection Supervisor the common problems or needs of vulnerable individuals in accessing rights and services.
- Attend the case management meetings that will be run by local authorities and/ or other humanitarian organizations.
- Regularly sharing the meeting minutes that she/he attends.
- Manage individual protection and cases.
- Regularly entering case files into the paper and electronic reporting / filing system and archiving them in the locker.
- Working in coordination with protection team in case management.
- Multi-disciplinary work with Clinical Psychologist, Psychologist, and Legal Advisor in case management.
- Ensure communication with stakeholders in the region and conduct periodic visits.
- Working with protection team to create / update service map.
- Create and update a referral system.
- Reporting the monthly narrative report to Program Manager and Protection Supervisor.
- Motivating individuals to participate in Protection and/or cash support activities.
Requirements
- At least BA in relevant field (Social Work, Psychology, Social Sciences, etc.)
- Fluency in Turkish, fluency in Arabic is preferred, fluency in English is an asset.
- Minimum 1 year experience in working with vulnerable groups (refugees, children, vulnerable women, LGBTI individuals, elderly, individuals with mental health issues, etc.)
- Minimum 1 year experience in case management
- Experience in field work with NGOs
- Experience of cross-cultural work
- Ability to be flexible, work in a fluid context and adaptation for unexpected situations
- Capacity to work both independently and collaboratively with others
- Communication skills: negotiating, facilitating, and presenting as well as strong verbal and written communication skills
- Time management, organization, and work prioritization
- Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
