Job Summary |
The Business Development Manager (BDM) will lead a dynamic team that is charged with generating new procurement contracts between buyers (e.g. INGOs, corporations, larger businesses, governments, development contractors) in Turkey and the region, and Building Markets’ network of more than 2,300 verified SMEs. To do this, the candidate will leverage the organization’s model, resources, and existing matchmaking strategies.
Hungry for a challenge and passionate about small businesses and their ability to drive job creation, the BDM should be target-driven and extroverted. S/he must know how to implement and adapt a strategy, effectively allocate human resources, and be able to ensure that all key performance indicators are exceeded.
The ideal candidate will be a creative professional who can adapt to emerging dynamics and business requirements related to COVID-19 – translating challenges into opportunities. The BDM reports to the Country Director and will have a minimum of 5-years’ experience with a demonstrable track record of success working in sales, supply chains or with SMEs. |
