Who we are?

IDA is an international independent non-governmental organization providing medical and humanitarian assistance to people affected by conflicts, natural disasters and epidemics regardless of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.
IDA was founded in 2012 by Syrian doctors from Aleppo in response to the healthcare and humanitarian crisis in Syria.

IDA Syria is the main healthcare provider in the Northern Aleppo/Syria area, working closely with 500,000 IDPs and 700,000 host communities through 20 healthcare facilities and other health and nutrition projects

During last year, IDA has provided 1.2 million services in Heath, Nutrition, WaSH and Camp Management

Purpose of the Position
The Facility Administrator is responsible for supervising facility-related staff, overseeing the daily operations of the facility, and ensuring that all processes related to maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and administration are conducted efficiently . This position plays a key role in maintaining a functional, safe, and professional working environment by leading the facility team and ensuring regular monitoring and reporting.

Key Responsibilities
1. Team Management
Supervise and manage the facility support staff (cleaners, guards, maintenance workers, etc.).
Organize daily tasks and schedules to ensure effective service delivery.
Provide guidance and support to the team to maintain a high standard of performance.
Conduct regular performance follow-up and report challenges to line manager.

2. Follow-up on Operations and Processes
Monitor all facility-related operations including cleaning, maintenance, utilities, and supplies.
Follow up on repairs, maintenance requests, and service contracts with external providers.
Ensure proper storage and inventory of facility materials and supplies.

3. Reporting and Documentation
Prepare and submit regular reports on facility status, staff performance, and maintenance activities.
Maintain records of incidents, maintenance logs, utility usage, and supply consumption.

4. Safety and Compliance
Ensure that the facility complies with safety and health standards.
Conduct regular checks on fire safety equipment and emergency procedures.
Report any safety or security risks to the relevant departments.

5. Communication and Coordination
Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., HR, IT, Logistics) for facility needs and events.
Act as the focal point for external service providers related to facility management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Administration, Logistics, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in facility or operations management.
• Proven experience in team leadership or supervision.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Word).
• To be Arabick speaker, English and Turkish are advantege
